As of Sept 30, 2010 the Endowment balance was $882 million, we have $52 million (5.9%) invested in sustainable forests, nothing in any of the other categories that we would keep track of or be able to select out.

The Foundations are managed by a third party entity. Values for investments are not available, but they are made in the areas of Natural Resources – Sustainable forestry and Private Equity – Focus on reducing greenhouse gas emissions in developing countries

The Foundation also receives donations designated for programs/initiatives with environmental and sustainability factors. For example, the Ann Salovich bequest. http://zeropluscampus.umn.edu/salovich/
