The Office of Diversity has been looking at the data to help set up UMD's Campus Climate Plan. The assessment completed in 2009 used the same questions as the 2002 assessment. However because a lack of response, the Office of Cultural Diversity had difficulty comparing to 2 surveys. Some of the programs that have come out of the results of the assessments are English as a Second Language classes for International Students and it helped to set the budgets for all of the under-represented groups in the Multicultural Center.
