Bulldog Welcome Week is an annual REQUIRED event for incoming freshman. Sustainability is present in the event through formal training (workshops on sustainability at UMD) and also incorporated into meals and other activities (zero-waste luncheons, energy pledges, eco-movies, green water bottle give-aways, and re-uasable bags given for book purchases.)
