Indisputably, the most wasteful week of the year on college campuses is move-out week. In order to prevent that waste, the Office of Sustainability and International Student Programs collect donations during move-out week for items that would normally be thrown away, stores these items over the summer, and then offers all items for free to students at the beginning of the fall semester.
