Data source(s) and notes about the submission:
There are 572 on-campus, full-time, degree-seeking students enrolled at UMC for FY23 and would be the primary population that would volunteer through UMC. Total enrollment as documented in the PRE categories would include non-dgree seeking, distance education, college in high school, and non-degree seeking students.

The Director of Athletics estimates that 72 student-athletes volunteered 22 hours each for a total of 1,584 hours. All student-athletes would be on-campus degree-seeking students. Unique student names were not available at the time of submittal for these students so only the hours were submitted.

Between 12/1/2022 and 11/30/2023, 278 students participated in club volunteering for a total of 2861 hours. Volunteering is required by each student club. A survey was used to collect hours and student names. The data was verified by ensuring that students who volunteered for multiple programs were counted only once. If student names were not provided (only the number of students), these students are not included in the total number of students metric since their unique identification could not be verified. However, the volunteer hours were counted. When data by student was not available, the hours spent on the volunteer activity were multiplied by the number of students that volunteers for that entry.
