A brief description of the institution’s GHG emissions reduction initiatives:

Current initiatives include energy reduction efforts such as the Planet Blue Energy Management teams who are responsible for identifying and implementing energy conservation measures across campus, as well as community awareness programs such as the Sustainable Office and Sustainable Laboratory programs that meet face to face with university faculty and staff to help develop sustainable behaviors.
The university recently entered into a renewable energy PPA with our local energy provider to purchase approximately 40% of electricity from wind generated sources. An RPF has been issued to pursue 100% renewable electricity PPA.
