GOALS ARE FOR 2025: Climate Action: Reduce greenhouse gas emissions (scopes 1&2) by 25% below 2006 levels & decrease carbon intensity of passenger trips on University of Michigan transportation options by 30% below 2006 levels. Waste Prevention: Reduce waste tonnage diverted to disposal facilities by 40% below 2006 levels. A brief description of how progress in meeting the plan’s goals is measured:

Each goal has many sub-goals and action plans attached to it. Each of these goals can and will be measured as appropriate. The report will be reviewed every 5 years and adjustments will be made if we are able to meet our goals more quickly than anticipated.
