Yes
A brief description of the bicycle sharing program:
The University has not engaged as of now in a bike share program on campus, but is allowing dock less bike share program from our surrounding municipalities to use campus premises. Parking of bikes from any bike share program falls under the same policy as regular owned bikes and therefore have to be parked at designated bike racks.
It should be added that most of the bike sharing programs have been transitioning to light electric scooter sharing programs in the last 3 years.

The university partnered with Zipcar and offers designated parking or the Zipcars in most needed locations (mainly near residential halls). The program is open for all UM affiliates.

A discount is offered for Hybrid, Plug in Hybrid and Electrical Vehicles.

We offer 6 Level 2 electric vehicle charging stations on our main campus and 12 Level 1 charging stations at our 2 other campuses.
In the Spring 2022, the Main campus will offer a total of 18 level 2 charging stations.

A brief description of the incentives or programs to encourage employees to live close to campus:
UM offers staff and faculty on site residence at competitive rate, internal services like childcare on each campus. The Real Estate Dpt negotiates special leasing prices for properties close to campus, benefiting both staff,faculty and students.

- Metro Rail special discount program for Faculty, Staff and Students.
- UM Bicycle Reuse partners with local NGOs to reuse abandoned bicycles on campus.
- Ride Flag Carpool on demand program
- Safe ride for freshmen that are not allowed to have a car on campus
