A brief description of the institution’s efforts to support alternative fuel and power technology in its motorized fleet:

Low Speed vehicles on our campuses are all electric. Some attempts had been made to convert some of our fleets to bio diesel, with little success. Our efforts are geared to lowering commuting, taking advantage of our prime location in the city.

The total number in the last application included many vehicles from the U Health, Clinical areas. The scope of our application having excluded the Healthcare Facilities from the very beginning, we fixed this error this time by filtering the list of vehicles to fit the actual scope of our application (Coral Gables, RSMAS and Academic vehicles from the Miller School of Medicine.
