A brief description of the methodology the institution followed to complete the research inventory:
Our Office of Planning, Institutional Research and Assessment no longer works with the software we used in our 2018 application (Academic Analytics), so we had to find an alternative. Our Office of Research Administration was able to provide the data following the same methodology and criteria used previously.
The only tool not offered in that new system was the automatic relevancy rating feature that AA used to have.
We send ORA the exact same list of keywords that our sustainability in the curriculum faculty committee agreed on (we will definitely use the recommendations offered recently by AASHE on this topic in our next application). ORA was able to provided a full list of all papers and faculty filtered by keywords for the year 2021.
We filtered the Total number of Faculty and Staff that are engaged in Research and their affiliated Departments by following the same criteria used for the AC1 inventory (Not included: Medical/Clinical; Music; Athletics)
