A brief description of the institution’s efforts to support alternative fuel and power technology in its motorized fleet:
UMass Lowell has highly utilized electric vehicle charging infrastructure. Fourteen Level 2 charging stations are available on each of our 3 main campus hubs with an additional five in construction. Plans are in place to expand our charging infrastructure to support electrification of the campus shuttle system.
