A brief description of the institution’s community garden:
UMass Lowell partnered with local non-profit Mill City Grows to start a community garden on university-owned land on Dane St. in 2018. The Dane St garden is a stone’s throw from University Crossing and is their second community garden in the Acre, one of Lowell's most significant Environmental Justice neighborhoods.
