The university uses a broad and multifaceted set of tools to encourage and improve diversity, equity, and inclusion on campus in employee and student populations. Admission rates are tracked by ethnicity. 4 & 6 year grad rates are tracked by ethnicity and gender. Hiring across campus is tracked by ethnicity, age and gender by department division. Student success is tracked using a variety of early warning tools that allow university employees to direct at-risk students to existing resources on campus to encourage their success.

EAB Student Success Collaborative The university's Global Engagement & Inclusive Culture Committee works to compile all of the assessment findings and make some strategic decisions about how we can move forward. Student success is tracked using a variety of early warning tools that allow university employees to direct at-risk students to existing resources on campus to encourage their success. In addition, this data is used to make strategic decisions on where to focus efforts improving student success.

The assessment results are presented in our Institutional Research Factbooks, the UMass Lowell Report Card, and an annual reporting from a variety of Offices including the Office of Multicultural Affairs and the Equal Opportunity and Outreach (EOO) Division of Human Resources.
