A brief description of the mentoring relationship and activities:
The University of Massachusetts Sustainability Council is a group consisting of sustainability staff from each of the UMass campuses with oversight from the UMass President's Office. As part of this group, each of the campuses offers resources and expertise to the other which supports sustainability reporting and the overall development of each campus' sustainability program.

Yes

A brief description of the peer review activities:
The participants in the UMass Sustainability Council regularly review data such as GHG emissions inventories from each campus. The group also collaborates on areas of shared or pooled resources e.g. UMass Foundation Investments to achieve the optimal sustainability benefit for the entire system.

Has the institution participated in other collaborative efforts around sustainability during the previous year, e.g. joint planning or resource sharing with other institutions? :
Yes

A brief description of other collaborative efforts around sustainability during the previous year:
The UMass Sustainability Council hosts an annual retreat to discuss collaborative efforts. In 2016 the retreat was held on the UMass campus.
