The Office of the Chief Diversity Officer at UMass Dartmouth partners with senior University leadership and colleges/division to develop and implement programs and strategies to enhance diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives while ensuring such efforts align with the institution’s mission and vision.
In addition, the UMass Dartmouth has installed a Diversity Council, which is comprised of 25 members of the faculty, staff, student and local community who serve in an advisor capacity to the Chancellor and senior University officers on matters related to diversity, equity and inclusion.
