Which of the following best describes the institution’s approach to rainwater management?:
No written policies, plans or guidelines, but green infrastructure and LID practices are used

A brief description of the institution’s green infrastructure and LID practices:

The Charlton College of Business and Learning Pavillion were built to LEED Silver and Gold standards, respectively. LID principles were built into the site using drainage swales to capture and slowly release water captured within the new building footprint.

The campus as a whole was designed as one master plan by architect Paul Rudolf. At the time, he designed a comprehensive system of moving runoff from roadways and parking lots which allowed for moving that water efficiently into storm drain, campus wetlands or local waterways, as appropriate.
