A brief description of how sustainability is included in new employee orientation:
During new employee orientation, the Assistant Director for Campus Sustainability meets with new hires and covers a variety of topics including recycling, the encouragement to use water bottle filling stations, participate in forest walks offered every semester or to partner in creating a class project around sustainable issues. References are also made to past success with the Princeton Guide to Green Colleges (9 years running), the Climate Action Plan and new Energy Master Plan outlining how to get to zero carbon emissions by 2030.
