A brief description of the campaign:
Members of the campus community were invited to participate in the SouthCoast Team. The challenge included a variety of activities for participants to pledge action, watch videos, read websites and pledge to change their behaviors.
A brief description of the measured positive impact(s) of the campaign:
The online tool captured the total number of challenges accepted, the number of hours spent reading and watching and the overall impact made as a part of the plan. In the 2019 challenge, Team SouthCoast scored as 13th in the world!

Project Drawdown Challenge
A brief description of the campaign (2nd campaign):
Members of the campus community were invited to participate in the SouthCoast Team. The challenge included a variety of activities for participants to pledge action, watch videos, read websites and pledge to change their behaviors. All of the behaviors were connected to the work done by Paul Hawking's book "Project Drawdown"
A brief description of the measured positive impact(s) of the campaign (2nd campaign):
In addition to the results of Team SouthCoast participating in this event, students from the Biology/Ecology Applied Projects course actually created a science fair targeting children 9-13 to display at the local zoo. It brought the challenge and the information contained in Project Drawdown to an entirely new community.
