A brief description of the institution’s assurance process:
Starting immediately following the kick-off meeting (2/25/20), GreenerU will begin reviewing UMass Amherst’s STARS submission. GreenerU will use an online shared document for this review. This will allow us to alert Ezra Small and his team when we have reviewed credits.
If there are any concerns or issues, they can be looked into and resolved parallel to GreenerU reviewing other credits. This will ensure a timely review of the report. GreenerU will send the letter by 3/4/2020.
The review of this report will include:
o Review of all credits using AASHE’s STARS 2.2 Review Template
o Written feedback to STARS submission stakeholders on potential data issues
o Secondary review to ensure issues have been addressed
o Weekly check-in calls
o Post-submission data inquiry support for above credits (included)
