"The University of Massachusetts is affiliated with both the Workers’ Rights Consortium (WRC) and the Fair Labor Association (FLA). Both organizations monitor apparel licensees’ factories to verify that the factories are in compliance with this Code. The University requires its apparel licensees to be affiliate and in good standing with the FLA before they can produce products bearing the University’s marks. All apparel Licenses are required to provide proof of good standing and membership in the FLA. The University reserves the right to participate with additional external monitoring organizations. Continued membership in any monitoring agencies shall be reviewed, at the minimum, on an annual basis."
