A brief description of how sustainability is included in new employee orientation:

Our HR department conducts weekly orientation sessions for all new benefited employees (staff, faculty, and graduate students). Beginning in August 2017, during this orientation, recycling guidelines have been included in all new employee and new graduate employee handbooks.
This provides an opportunity to highlight the importance of sustainability to the university's mission overall and the economic and environmental impact that recycling has on the university.
