stadium certified under a green building rating system: Yes, the Football Performance Center and Skybox at McGuirk Stadium received LEED certification in 2015.

A sustainable food and beverage purchasing program that includes athletic event vendors and concessions: All concession stands at the UMass football games in 2016 used compostable products and student volunteers composted inside the stadium during the games as part of the EPA Gameday Challenge.

A program to support more sustainable transportation options for athletic events: The UMass football team buses out fans from Amherst to Foxboro for the games held at Gillettee stadium.

Community engagement efforts, e.g. to educate students and fans/supporters about the institution’s sustainability initiatives: The EPA Gameday Challenge efforts were advertised during the football games on the jumbo-tron during halftime and Gameday Challenge results were published in the UMass news office website press releases.
