IAQ Program (single attribute)
UMBC conducts annual audits of indoor air quality (IAQ) that discovers any conditions that may need corrections.
The mechanism for complaints:
Employees can contact their supervisor, Facilities Management and/or Environmental Safety and Health (ESH) with concerns.
Action Plans:
UMBC performs an assessment of the area in question, meeting with the individuals who have concerns and if needed utilizing a third-party Industrial Hygienist to perform additional sampling. Then if the findings necessitate, a remediation plan is then formed involving all impacted and necessary individuals.
