A list of all offered UM majors, minors and degrees was created. From this list, the course requirements for each were looked at. If a course requirement within these categories was a sustainability-focused course, it was deemed as a minor, major or degree with a sustainability component. Degree programs which have sustainability-focused learning outcomes were also added to the list and sent to the Office of Institutional Analysis to provide the number of graduates for those areas. Graduates which had a major and minor with sustainability courses requirement were only counted once.
