Has the institution conducted a survey or other evaluation that allows for anonymous feedback to measure employee satisfaction and engagement during the previous three years?:
Yes

Percentage of employees (staff and faculty) assessed, directly or by representative sample (0-100):
32

A brief description of the institution’s methodology for evaluating employee satisfaction and engagement:
The University is currently moving away from doing large employee satisfaction surveys and are moving to pulse surveys in order to improve response rates. These are smaller contained surveys that take about 5 to 10 minutes to complete. They touch on different areas of the employee experience at the university. The first pulse survey was done on employee satisfaction of the benefit plans at the University. The next scheduled survey is on career development.

A brief description of the mechanism(s) by which the institution addresses issues raised by the evaluation (including examples from the previous three years):
The pulse surveys are designed so employees can be surveyed about specific topics. The information resulting from the pulse surveys can then be used to reshape supports that are in place for employees. For example, the most recent pulse survey covered employee health benefits. Since collecting the results of the survey, updates to the benefits plans have been put in place. Top requests were, increases to the health spending account, prescription drug coverage, dental plan and orthodontic coverage.
