The University of Manitoba’s Office of Student Affairs provides support and resources for faculty and staff to better serve students from low-income backgrounds. Scholarships at the University of Manitoba are awarded based on academic merit. Bursaries are awarded on financial need and reasonable academic standing. All students have equal eligible opportunity based on the applications criteria.

Non-traditional Students
The Financial Aid & Awards Office is an important resource for a large number of programs designed to assist Aboriginal students meet the cost of their tuition and living expenses while studying full and part-time.
On-site Childcare

PlayCare Centre: Located at the Fort Garry Campus, priority is given to students of the University of Manitoba. PlayCare Centre is operated by Student Affairs by the Department of Student Advocacy and Accessibility.
Campus Day Care Centre Inc.: Located at the Fort Garry campus, Campus Day Care Centre Inc. is non-profit and licensed by the Provincial Day Care office
