A brief description of the methodology the institution followed to complete the course inventory:
A course inventory was created for sustainability courses and courses that include sustainability by developing a keyword list through initial brainstorming in the Office of Sustainability, then consulting with the Campus Sustainability Committee and referring to the Earth Charter. As a result, 33 terms were used to search Aurora, the online course catalogue for courses with the sustainability terms in the title or course description. Courses were then sorted into Sustainability Courses or Courses that include Sustainability. The course list was refined to eliminate duplicates and cross-listed courses.
