The following areas were included in this calculation: the main body of campus, “Frat Row” and all of the maintained UMaine land on the west side of College Ave., 491-495 College Ave., the Edith Patch property, University Park & the associated child care facility properties, Buchanan Alumni & Canada House properties, the Hazardous Waste Facility, all of the roads and recreational trails associated with the main campus and the “Deer Pen” road & complex, and the Witter Farm area.

Gross Floor area of building space: This value was obtained from the Facilities Management Engineering Center for the area covered in the Total Campus Area calculation.
