Daniel Dixon is on the Clean Energy Committee of the Intentional Endowments Network. He is also a member of the resiliency committee and the data management committee for Second Nature. Daniel Dixon and Karina Graeter are both members of the Northeast Campus Sustainability Consortium 2019 annual meeting steering committee.

The UMaine Office of Sustainability maintains a close relationship with the University of Southern Maine and University of Maine Farmington as a mentor for the purposes for the development of their sustainability programs. For example, The UMaine Office of Sustainability assisted in the development of a sustainability-focused food provider contract with Sodexo for both USM and UMF. Also, a member of the UMaine Office of Sustainability is on USM’s GHG-ESCO subcommittee regarding power purchasing agreement and energy performance contracting.
