Each year, the Office of Sustainability works with different groups on campus to bring a professional development workshop to campus. For the past two years, we have hosted professional development workshops conducted by Jamie Cloud of the Cloud Institute for Sustainability Education. These workshops have focused on how to inspire people to contribute to the shift toward a sustainable future. The workshops include lecture, interactive exercises and hands-on activities to bring the broad reaching concepts of sustainability down to a personal level. These workshops are free and open to all UMaine staff, faculty, and students.
