A brief description of the institution’s main campus and other aspects of the institutional boundary used to complete this report:
The parts of campus included within our Institutional Boundary are Main Campus, the Athletic Complex, University Research Park, Cade Farm, and the Ecology Center (aka LouAna Research Property). Main Campus is where the majority of classes take place and also where all university housing is located. The Athletic Complex includes all facilities for NCAA, club, and intramural sports. It also includes the gym facility with some classroom space. For physical purposes, we do not include the grounds or buildings at the New Iberia Research Center (NIRC). This is because the NIRC facility, up until 2020, was federally controlled and the University had no say in management. However, HR-related measurements like employees and safety at NIRC, are included in this report.
