A brief description of programs, policies, infrastructure investments, outreach efforts, and/or other factors that contributed to the diversion rate:
We have recycling programs in place in almost all campus facilities for traditional recyclable materials. We compost leaves and grass trimmings from our grounds operations, reuse pallets, and operate a robust surplus property division that resells goods to the university and the community.
