A brief description of the campaign(s):
The Resident Hall Energy Competition begins its inaugural year during this school year. This competition pits all the residence halls against one another to see who can reduce their energy demand the most from this year to its baseline (a five-year rolling average from previous school years). Each month, the hall with the biggest reduction in its energy demand will receive a prize, and at the end of the semester, the hall with the biggest energy demand reduction will win an overall prize. So turn off your lights when you leave the room, power down your computers and video game systems when they are not in use, and unplug your cell phone charger—you might just win something!
