A brief description of the methodology the institution followed to complete the course inventory:
The course catalog was reviewed by Center for Sustainability staff to identify courses that may meet the definitions for sustainability-related and -focused courses. The compiled lists for each academic area were then sent to department chairs and directors for a final review. The list was cross-referenced with semester catalogs to determine if a given course was offered in fall 2013, spring 2014 or summer 2014. Courses were counted as one for each semester offered. A course offered in F, S & M would be counted 3 times for example.
