A brief description of the program:
The Environmental Stewardship Program stations a recycling technician at each residence hall during the days students are moving in to the residence halls. Special dumpsters are labeled for cardboard recycling, and a truck stops at each hall several times each day to pick up recyclable materials.
In the spring of 2011, 5.5 tons of cardboard were recycled during the move-in weeks.
