A brief description of how sustainability is included prominently in new student orientation:
Since 2009, a brochure on sustainability has been distributed at New Student Orientation events and a section on sustainability is included in the official orientation guide (with a more comprehensive guide on the sustainability website at http://www.sustainability.ku.edu/orientation.shtml). Starting in 2010, the KU Center for Sustainability began participating in the New Student Orientation Info Fairs, providing students and their families with information about packing for the move to KU with sustainability in mind.
