The University of Iowa has a beautiful, self-contained campus in Iowa City, IA. Spanning over 2,000 acres of land, the campus includes over 200 buildings ranging from academic to power plants, dormitory, and athletic facilities.

The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics are among the largest operational medical teaching facilities in the world. These facilities are not included in the UI submission. When STARS assessments fully reflect the challenges facing very large medical treatment and teaching hospitals, UI officials will review the potential for their inclusion.
