The "Working At Iowa" survey is an opportunity for employees to give anonymous, confidential feedback about their work experience at the University of Iowa. The survey has been administered every few years since 2006, and growth is tracked based on agreement with 20 different survey items.
A brief description of the mechanism(s) by which the institution addresses issues raised by the evaluation:
The "Working at Iowa" Survey follows an Action Planning Guide Principles: 1) Open Sharing of Results. The results are made public via the website. 2) Understanding the Data 3) Results to Action. Human resources leaders on campus are available to assist individual colleges and units in communicating and utilizing the Working at Iowa results in their respective work areas. University leaders will utilize Working at Iowa survey data to inform actions and measure progress in the UI Strategic Plan 2022-2027.

For the 2022 "Working at Iowa" survey, all faculty and staff were eligible to participate. Over 69% of faculty and staff responded - we consider this to be representative of the entire population
