Annual surveys of undergraduate, graduate, and professional students focusing on engagement, inclusion, expectations, belonging, campus climate, and more for the Equity Dashboard. A more extensive survey based on the HERI climate survey is planned for a Fall rollout.
The Office carried out a comprehensive assessment in 2008, and completed it in 2012, with a series of action items to be addressed. Since then, we have reviewed diversity data on an annual basis, e.g., Zero Group Representation Report, which indicates departments with no underrepresented minority faculty.

Most of the focus is on UIC students but diversity, inclusion, and equity are evaluated to improve the campus climate for everyone in the institution with support from the Office of Access and Equity and the Office of Diversity.
