A brief description of how sustainability is included prominently in new student orientation :
The Orientation Leaders are trained about campus sustainability initiatives including information about financial aid, Centers for Cultural Understanding and Social Change, student support services, commuter student resource center, wellness center, green campus features, recycling, etc. This information is conveyed to the students as they do their orientation activities. Additionally signage is provided during the lunch served to students in the cafeteria that describes the local and sustainable components of the food service.
