The Urban and Public Affairs major is a pre-professional program that prepares undergraduate students to enter urban professions and graduate programs. Students gain knowledge and understanding of the complexity and diversity of the urban environment as well as learn the policy and management processes that affect urban living. Using the Chicago metropolitan area for investigation and hands on experience, students experience and analyze urban issues, relating to sustainability from active and pratical perspectives.
