UH Dining "Bagless" Initiative
A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome that outlines how credit criteria are met and any positive measurable outcomes associated with the innovation:
UH Dining is proud to advance sustainability efforts in partnership with the Student Government Association and the Food Service Advisory Committee. Market Stores are transitioning away from plastic bags. Reusable and paper bags as well as reusable straws will be available for purchase. This is complementary to UH Dining's trayless initiative, styrofoam-free commitment, and composting of 100% of back-of-house food waste.
