A brief description of how sustainability is included in new employee orientation:
All new hires to the University of Houston attend orientation on their first day. At new hire orientation, sustainability is discussed as one of the campus’s resources to staff, faculty, students and the entire community. Topics include resources around wellness, work-life balance, campus sustainability and development, and physical and mental health. Wellness: Employee PowerUp Wellness resources (walking paths, on-site immunization clinics, mobile mammograms, farmers markets, and more)
