The University of Houston employs a number of health and safety initiatives through various departments and policies. Environmental Health and Life safety handles the majority of these initiatives and safety training including: respiratory protection, chemical hygiene, asbestos, fall protection, ergonomics and many other initiatives. Employees also complete an annual training.
