Services include sponsoring campus wide events, offering workshops and speakers on many wellness topics, supporting a peer education program including academic credit and certification options, and supporting student learning by serving as a resource for wellness information.
The Health Center offers general and specialized wellness services to students, staff and faculty. These services include prescription filling, free HIV testing, ambulatory care, dental and medical appointments, emergency treatment, vaccinations, and more.
The Department of Counseling and Psychological Services offers holistic services to students and their partners in both group and individual settings (some of which are free). CAPS provides free consultations of faculty and staff and also holds open campus events like Let’s Talk.
Cougars in Recovery provides students in recovery from addiction a safe, sober environment that assists and supports them as they pursue their academic and professional goals, walk the path of recovery and participate in the diverse social opportunities available on campus.
