A brief description of the institution’s efforts to support alternative fuel and power technology in its motorized fleet:

The University is transitioning is fleet to 100% electric vehicles. The breakdown of the university fleet consists of 210 utility carts (102 of them are electric plug in), 148 licensed vehicles & 22 pieces of equipment. The University is presently finalizing a contract for a CNG Fueling Station on its Energy Research Park property. The process to convert seven of the university trucks to 100% dedicated CNG fuel is also underway.
