A brief description of the methodology used to complete the course inventory :

UHMC has a separate inventory, created by Sustainability faculty and committee members that is listed on their shared google drive accounts under the folder "STARS". This list of sustainability courses is updated each semester as the classes begin to start. The document is then turned into a PDF and submitted on to here. Before a class can be considered an SF or SR (or SI) course, it has to be written on a forum and approved by the board.

Definition of Sustainability Related (SR) - Some portion of the course content addresses sustainability terminology, knowledge, issues, and concerns.

Definition of Sustainability Focused (SF) - A course includes sustainability as a major theme of the course. A significant portion of course content is directly and explicitly related to addressing concepts of sustainability such as the social, economic and environmental dimensions, or examining an issue or topic using sustainability as a lens.

How were courses with multiple offerings or sections counted for the figures reported above?:
Each course was counted as a single course regardless of the number of offerings or sections

A brief description of how courses with multiple offerings or sections were counted:

Courses with multiple section offerings count for as many sections as were offered.
