Scoring: At this time Hon CC continuing education does not have any sustainability classes open to the general public. Current continuing education classes include writing, welding, and professional classes to increase a trades certification level. Professor John Delay occasionally allows continuing education students to audit Sustainability Focused courses as part of the Seniors/Emeritus College
Also the Voyaging and Maritime Education Program introduces students to the history and foundations of voyaging, the importance of the wa’a and the kuleana and the roles each crew member will need to execute efficiently and safely, to the planning and execution of actual voyaging time on the ocean. This curriculum can be tied back to Sustainability due to the Hawaiian cultural importance of malama 'aina and the zero-emission transportation of the Hawaiian voyaging.
