Part 1. Sustainability course offerings
Sustainability course offerings were identified from a list of courses approved for a Sustainability Designation by the Sustainability Designation Review Committee for a total of 56. These include 29 Sustainability Focused courses and 27 Sustainability Related courses. Total campus courses were identified from those offered in the past year for a total of 882.
Definition of Sustainability Related (SR) - Some portion of the course content addresses sustainability terminology, knowledge, issues, and concerns.
Definition of Sustainability Focused (SF) - A course that includes sustainability as a major theme of the course. A significant portion of course content is directly and explicitly related to addressing concepts of sustainability such as the social, economic, and environmental dimensions, or examining an issue or topic using sustainability as a lens.

Academic departments were identified using the list provided in the table of contents in the 2021-2022 Honolulu Community College Catalog. Sustainability Designated courses are offered in 8 Academic Departments.
Sustainability course offerings were identified from a list of courses approved for a Sustainability Designation by the Sustainability Designation Review Committee for a total of 56. These include 29 Sustainability Focused courses and 27 Sustainability Related courses. Total campus courses were identified from those offered in the past year for a total of 882.
Definition of Sustainability Related (SR) - Some portion of the course content addresses sustainability terminology, knowledge, issues, and concerns.
