Assessment in progress. Hawaiʻi-CC is a proponent of community service and experiential learning through service. Although hundreds of students engage in community service each year, the institution currently does not track how many students complete community service, or how many hours they serve.

Although the institution does not currently have complete data for this credit, partial data is available. Drew Kapp, Geography Instructor, hosts and requires participation in service-learning for his classes. In the 2019-20 school year, Drew hosted 16 service learning days with 355 participants.
